-Silks Corporation Opens its First Off-Track Betting Facility
In North Dakota-

TORONTO, ON: February 23, 2009 - SUNGOLD INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS CORP. (“Sungold”) (OTCBB: SGIHF, Frankfurt: WKN 608164, Berlin)

Silks Corporation, an affiliate of Sungold International Holdings Corp., announces its OTB is ready to go live at The Turf Club at Dempsey’s in Fargo, ND, on February 23rd. In partnership with Horse Race North Dakota, this newly renovated, upscale facility is also the first OTB in North America to boast Internet Broadcast Streaming for display of simulcast video, a state-of-the-art technology that represents a significant advance over previous systems.

Customers will enjoy world class live racing from across the country beginning on February 27th, followed by an official Grand Opening Celebration on March 7th, hosted by Silks Corporation, Horse Race North Dakota and Dempsey’s.
The opening of The Turf Club at Dempsey’s is the culmination of a process involving Silks’ Simulcast Service Provider License, contracts with more than 15 race tracks, and a number of other contractual and technical arrangements that have now been completed.
