Sungold® announces a new magazine debuting in Style, ThoroughbredStyle

TORONTO, ON: July 30, 2007-SUNGOLD INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS CORP. (“Sungold”) (OTCBB: SGIHF, Frankfurt: WKN 608164, Berlin)

Boasting an original cover by Peb the renowned cartoonist, and filled with stories and photos by award-winning free-lance writers and photographers, ThoroughbredStyle Magazineleaps to life with the launch of its first issue this week, the August Collector’s Edition. The bi-monthly magazine offers lively human-interest stories about Thoroughbred racing, the horses, the people and their Thoroughbred lifestyle.

Unique in its approach, ThoroughbredStyle is published by Silks Media Corporation; a fifty per cent owned subsidiary of Sungold International Holdings Corp. Inside the first issue, Larry Simpson Executive Editor outlines the unique vision of the magazine. The Racing Editor is Eclipse Award winning Bill Heller, author of 15 books.

As a special interest for subscribers, ThoroughbredStyle Magazine introduces its own Racing Club, featuring numerous specially selected Thoroughbreds racing exclusively in the ThoroughbredStyle Racing Club silks. Magazine subscribers who choose to become members earn reward points based on purses. A percentage of the purses and the Racing Club subscription cost are used to provide rewards that Racing Club members can receive by redeeming their points. Subscribers will be able to follow the ThoroughbredStyle Racing Club schedule on the web site www.thoroughbredstyle.net to see where and when the horses are racing. As a point of interest, Kissin for Fun was the first horse to race under the stable’s bronze and black racing silks, and in her first start for ThoroughbredStyle Racing Club was victorious in a race at Indiana Downs.

Each issue of ThoroughbredStyle will include a lifestyle Destination piece highlighting popular travel locations and upcoming race meetings. The first issue features historic Saratoga Springs, New York, home to world famous Saratoga Race Course, which opened its six-week meet on July 25th. Another article describes the peace and solitude of the very unique Island Equestrian Center located on South Padre Island, just off the South Texas coast.

Other articles in the first issue include stories about Eclipse Award winning jockey Edgar Prado, announcer Tom Durkin, the Arlington Million, Del Mar and a heart warming story on the Old Friends horse rescue in Kentucky.
